Since there are now much more sources, the sources are now categorized. As per the old style files (large files per country) from rytec's EPG will be disabled, it is required that the rytec sources are updated by then.
and there is a setting to cache this file. Thread: Update EPGimport (XMLTVimport) and rytec sources. I have successfully loaded m3u playlist onto tivimate (but have no epg). there is a setting for epg where you can insert an url to an xml file, e.g.
